What is The Native SD?
My name is Eric and I am a 20-something (almost 30… yikes) from San Diego, CA. I have had the amazing fortune to call this place home my entire life, save for my college years in Massachusetts. As a native San Diegan, one of my passions has been helping people discover more about this great city I call home.
The idea for The Native SD has been burning in my head for a while and I decided 2022 was a great time to start. Selfishly, I thought it would be fun to start a blog and earn a little cash on the side, so here we are. One of my dreams is to work for the San Diego Chamber of Commerce or the San Diego Tourism Authority, so why not try and pad the resume while I’m at it.

My favorite areas include the Torrey Pines Gliderport (severely underrated spot), Downtown Encinitas, Convoy Street, Balboa Park, and South Park.
